Who wouldn’t want to go to Ireland for St. Patrick Day festivities?
It would be easy to spend well over $4,000 to bring a family of four to Ireland, so why not bring the fun to your home?! Here are several ways to celebrate this Sunday that are free (or practically free)!
Start by finding a local parade! Many cities have free parades for families to enjoy!
Another fun thing to do is learn a little Irish History! Did you know that the National Geographic’s website is filled with fun facts about Ireland?
Why not have a “Pot o’ Gold” Treasure Hunt?! Or make “Clover” crafts from items you have in your homes, such as the bottom of a bottle of water or even the bottom of a bell pepper!
You could also make “St. Patrick’s Day Carnations” by putting some green food coloring in a vase with white Carnations! What a great experiment to have with your Squeaky Cuties!
The morning of, make St. Patty’s Day Pancakes with green food coloring. You could even use four leaf clover cookie cutters. On that note, make some green sugar cookies to celebrate!
Make some healthy green fruit skewers with kiwi, green apple, green pears, and green cantaloupe!
